Team 4272 will be competing, along with 30 other FRC teams, at Boiler Bot Battle (B3), the annual off-season competition hosted by Purdue FIRST Programs (PFP). Team members old and new have an opportunity to play the 2022 game, Rapid React℠, one last time before moving on to next season’s game. This competition will be held at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds. Opening ceremonies start at 9:30 AM.
Results:
We went into alliance selection ranked 6th after the qualification matches. Alliance 1, headed up by Team 5402 Iron Kings and Berrybotics (Walton, IN) chose us as their first pick. Team 1741 Red Alert Robotics (Greenwood, IN) and Team 1646 Precision Guessworks (Jefferson HS, Lafayette) rounded out the alliance. We competed with vigor, but both of our quarterfinal matches against Alliance 8 proved to be too much, and we were eliminated.
